The glass we supply.

Four positions cover the jobs that come into a workshop. Pick one, or send the registration if you are between two names.

01 — Front glass

Windscreens

A replacement windscreen is chosen by more than the badge on the bonnet. Two cars of the same model can need different glass once a camera, a rain sensor, a heated element, acoustic laminate or a head-up display is involved.

Send the registration and what you can see on the old screen. If the damage is a chip rather than a crack that has run, include a clear photo. We will say whether you need a new screen from us, or whether a repair is still the right call.

Registration, make, model and year. Note any camera, rain sensor, heating or head-up display. A photo of a chip speeds the answer.

02 — Door glass

Side windows

Door glass is toughened safety glass, and the part changes with the opening. Front is not rear. Driver is not passenger. A privacy tint, or a different body style in the same year, will not share the clear glass from the other side.

Tell us which door, and send the registration. When a vehicle has several similar side pieces, a photo of the opening prevents the wrong one arriving.

Include with the quote

Registration and the exact door, for example “front passenger”. Add tint if you can see it, and a photo if there is more than one side piece.

03 — Backlights

Rear glass

The rear screen follows the body: saloon, hatchback, estate or van. A tailgate glass is a different part from a fixed backlight. Heating is common. An aerial, a wiper spindle or a cut-out for a high-level brake light will change the part, and so will privacy tint.

A straight-on photo plus the registration is usually enough to separate those options. Tell us the body style and the year if the plate is not to hand.

04 — Fixed lights

Quarter glass

Quarter glass is the smaller fixed glazing beside a door or set into a panel, ahead of a front door or behind a rear door. These pieces vary widely between body styles, and the left-hand glass is rarely the same moulding as the right.

We supply bonded and framed quarter lights for cars, vans and 4x4s, including tinted and privacy glass. A photograph of the opening is the most reliable way to name the piece. If the broken glass is already out, photograph the hole and the opposite side.

Distribution

Held in the warehouse, then sent out.
